Dr. Alexander Bory
Ph.D., FAClinP, Director

Dr. Bory is the Director of Fredericksburg
Psychological Services. Fredericksburg
Psychological Services, provides mental health services
including child, adolescent, and adult psychotherapy,
psychological testing, substance abuse evaluation and
counseling, and forensic evaluation. He is credentialed at
Mary Washington Hospital, where he is a former Chairman of the
Psychology Division. He is the former Director of Adult
Programs at Snowden at Fredericksburg, a private psychiatric
hospital, where he introduced numerous unique therapeutic
systems and provided daily psychotherapy group for adult
inpatients, from 1994 through 2000.
Dr. Bory retired from the United States Navy in which he
served from 1979 until 1994, when he concluded his tour as
Clinical Psychologist at the Naval Medical Clinic Quantico,
Virginia. He enjoyed a wide variety of assignments in both
clinical and research areas. He served at a number of Naval
Hospitals throughout the world.
Dr. Bory received a B.B.A. degree in Marketing and
Statistics from the Bernard M. Baruch College, City University
of New York in 1972. In 1977, he earned a M.S. degree in
Research and Statistical Methodology, University of Northern
Colorado in Greeley, Colorado. He was awarded a Ph.D. in 1982
in two disciplines: Psychology, Counseling & Guidance, and
Research & Statistical Methodology, also from the
University of Northern Colorado.
A Fellow of the Academy of Clinical Psychology, Dr. Bory is
also a member of the American Psychological Association. He is
a licensed psychologist in the States of Virginia, Maryland,
and North Carolina. He is Board Certified in Clinical
Psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP).

Thomas C. Mountz CAPT U.S. Navy (ret) Psy.D, FAClinP

Thomas C. Mountz, Psy.D., CAPTAIN USN (Ret.), presently
maintains an office for the practice of clinical psychology at
the Fredericksburg Psychological Services in Fredericksburg,
Virginia. Dr. Mountz is a Diplomate in clinical psychology
from The American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP). He
is also a Fellow in the Academy of Clinical Psychology
(FAClinP). He is licensed as a clinical psychologist and
school psychologist in Virginia and Ohio.
Dr. Mountz has served as a school psychologist in the
public schools in Dayton, Ohio and Fredericksburg, Virginia
for more than twelve years and is a Charter member of the
National Association of School Psychologists. He served as a
clinical psychologist in the United states Navy for more than
twenty years retiring in 1996 as a CAPTAIN (06). I-Es duty
stations included assignments at Marine Corps Recruit Depot,
Parris Island, South Carolina; USAF Hospital, Homestead,
Florida; National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, Maryland;
Naval Special Warfare, Seal Team Six; Naval Investigative
Service as director of behavioral science; and the United
States Marine Corps Security Guard Battalion (State
Department).
Dr. Mountz has clinical training and expertise in a wide
range of national, site specific, and individual security
activities, forensic evaluations, neuropsychological
evaluations, personal performance evaluation and enhancement
activities, and crisis intervention and response on both a
local and international level. He has served as consultant on
national interests and crisis matters to senior governmental
officials. He has been a successful athletic coach, coaching
special teams and defense on the national champion
Fredericksburg Generals semi-professional football team and
numerous division champion service football teams. Dr. Mountz
is an Assistant Professor for the Department of Health,
Fitness and Recreation Resources and project coordinator at
U.S. Marine Corps Base, Quantico, Virginia, for the George
Mason University.
Dr. Mountz actively participates in 18' and 19' century
living history presentations and enjoys maintaining his Civil
War era fort in Stafford County, Virginia. He has authored
numerous professional and historical articles and chapters for
edited books. He maintains a commercial, multi-engine pilots
license.
Dr. Mountz has been married for the past thirty - four
years to the former Elaine Marie Roush and have two adult
daughters, Ms. Rebecca M. Mountz, residing in Stafford, VA,
and Dr. Adele Addington, Ph.D., residing in Lexington, VA.

| Lewis
B. Doggett, Jr. MDiv., Licensed Professional Counselor

Lewis ("Lew") B. Doggett, Jr. was born in
Charlotte, NC, was raised, and lived most of his life in the
Carolinas. He graduated from the University of North
Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in Sociology and with a
degree from the Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary in
Columbia, SC. He has served variously as a Lutheran
minister, a Lutheran Chaplain, a Member of the American
Association of Pastoral Counselors, and is a Licensed
Professional Counselor in thee state of Virginia.
He is a Counselor at Snowden at Fredericksburg, a private,
psychatric hospital in their Day Treatment Program. His
areas of specialization include couples counseling, chemical
dependency, and men's issues.

| Dr. Bory and Dr. Mountz are Fellows of the
Academy of Clinical Psychology. To be eligible for a Fellow
status, a psychologist must first achieve Board Certification
from the American Board of Clinical Psychology which is an
affiliate organization within the American Board of
Professional Psychology (ABPP).
The Academy serves its professional members by offering
quality, continuing education programs, and by promoting the
highest standards of mental health care.
The Academy serves the public by identifying clinical psychologists
who have successfully undergone a comprehensive peer review,
examination process to achieve Board Certification and who
have been recognized as meeting the very high criteria for
Clinical Fellow status.
